| Criminal Investigative Division |
The Criminal Investigation Division consists of five
investigators and one administrative assistant. Our duties
include investigation of felony crimes such as burglaries,
major thefts, computers crimes and acts of violence
against persons. Often, after patrol deputies take an
initial complaint, if the case requires extended
investigation requiring more time than a patrol officer can
devote to it, criminal investigators assume responsibility
for the case, even if not a felony. Our job is to identify
the perpetrator, gather facts, collect evidence and make
the arrest. We prepare the reports and present it to the
prosecutors and work with them through the final
disposition of the case.
